The Certificate in Business English programme is designed for learners who have some background in English but wish to further improve their English proficiency level.

Designed to meet the needs of the busy professional, the course focuses on specific language targets such as grammar, and aims to help participants build fluency in the English language.

Participants will be motivated and stimulated through the use of interactive activities, conversations, role-plays involving real-world tasks.

4 Levels:

• Introductory
• Elementary
• Intermediate
• Advanced

Target Audience:

• Working adults and participants needing to use English as a mode of communication in a business environment.

Course Objectives:

• Introduction to the business world
• Office routines
• Making conversation with clients and customers
• Arranging meetings and schedules
• Describing and comparing company and products
• Business in progress

Entry Requirement:

• Participants should have some working knowledge of the English language and will be required to take a placement test to ascertain their level of English proficiency.

Assessment & Certificate:

• Participants who achieve 75% attendance and pass the class test would be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency.
• Participants who achieve 75% attendance but do not pass the class test would be awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
