If you’re looking for an apprenticeship in the automotive trades, boost your chances of getting one with this pre-apprenticeship course.
Combining theory and practical training, this course will teach you how to use workplace tools and equipment, remove and replace conventional engines and dismantle and assemble engines.
You will gain skills in dismantling and assembling carburettors, fuel pumps and transmissions, and in basic automotive electrical tasks. You will also develop skills in how to look for your perfect job.

This course may give you employment opportunities as an automotive apprentice.

This course is accredited by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA)
What further study options will I have?
You may progress into a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology in conjunction with an automotive apprenticeship.
