Course details
The Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology is designed to provide students with the necessary basic skills to assist in gaining an automotive apprenticeship.
Students will learn how to apply safe work, environmental and sustainability practices in an automotive workplace. This course covers the use of workplace tools and equipment, servicing and inspection of engines, transmissions, cooling, fuel, steering, suspension and braking systems, and how to identify automotive faults. Students will also learn skills in effective workplace communication and customer relations.
