What is this course about?
This course will provide an opportunity for students to study for a Certificate in Digital Media at Level 8. The course consists of two key components - graphic design and web design.
Aim
This course will introduce students to design principles, digital illustration and imaging. Students will be introduced to a number of basic digital processes including drawing, selections, transforming, colour and scanning, downloading, uploading and printing images. Students will also learn about the technologies used to create networked media interfaces. Students will be introduced to the use of web technologies as a learning medium.
The programme will introduce the participants to web design principles, digital illustration and imaging.
What are the minimum entry requirements?
All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.
