This course, presented by the IMF’s Legal Department, provides a general introduction to the institutional and legal infrastructure that is necessary to support market-based financial systems, a selection of which will be discussed during the course. It therefore covers basic institutional and functional aspects of central banking, payment system, banking regulation/supervision and bank resolution.
The mission of the IMF-Middle East We_They is to strengthen the economic management in Arab League Member Countries by delivering an integrated curriculum of training courses and seminars that address the key skill sets needed to support this goal.
