The Certificate in English Language Teaching (CELT) is recognised as an English Language Teaching qualification by ACELS (Quality and Qualifications of Ireland which is part of the Department of Education and Skills), the British Council and quality language schools worldwide.
The CELT provides an entry to the English Language Teaching profession and as such is essential for teaching English outside of Ireland. It is also required for teaching adults in English language schools in Ireland.
