Introduction
This course will appeal to those with an interest in computer graphics, animation, interactive presentations and web-based multimedia. Successful participants will receive a QQI Level 5 Certificate in Multimedia Production.
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate with 5 passes or Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent. For mature students applications may be considered based on a proven interest in digital media and web design. Entry may be subject to interview

Course Structure
Learn how to author interactive presentations and video projects for DVD and how to design and develop websites using the latest standards and technologies. Learn about the process of design and animation and how to manipulate and develop digital and animated graphics.
Career Options | Progression
Successful completion of the course allows progression to a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Multimedia & Web Development or to selected and related courses at Institutes of Technology/Universities. Employment opportunities include the fields of web design, multimedia design, graphic design, animation, advertising and computer-related industries.
This course is run with support from the FIT Job Seekers programme. They provide guidance and information on CV development, interview skills, work placement visits and LinkedIn profiles. After your completion of the Level 5 Multimedia Production course, FIT will provide three years of support in CV preparation and interview skills.
