Course details

Camera filmmaking classes are designed for a new generation of storytellers: visual artists who share a passion for motion pictures and want to learn by making their own projects in a hands-on, intensive program.

Through these practical classes camera students will examine the implications for production, composition and lighting and what camera would be best to use, based on budget and requirements and what the final result would entail.

Class Outline

• Filmmaking in general: Camera, editing, lighting, script, graphic
• Camcorder in general: Camera body, lens, frame, camera movement
• Video editing introduction: Timeline, video, audio, effects, digitizing, finalizing 
• Lighting introduction: Basic lighting
• Audio introduction: Basic audio
• Practice Filming
• Practice Audio recording
• Practice Editing
