SMART English Junior: Certificate in General English for Secondary is a course with three levels, delivered for four hours a day. Each level is 240 hours of study over 12 weeks and students are eligible for a student pass through the British Council. New registrations are taken every Monday.SMART ENGLISH JUNIOR IN BRIEF
SMART English Junior will help students with using functional English on a daily basis, as well as prepare them for the academic experience of studying at secondary school in Singapore.
In this course, it will:
- Raise students' English levels through an integrated course-book based syllabus aimed at teens, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary & pronunciation
- Improve students' exam skill strategies with regular Aptis for Teens exam preparation study and mock tests
- Introduce students to subject-specific English to prepare them for their school study
- Task-based projects for the international student-centred classroom e.g. presentations, critical internet research.
WHO IS SMART ENGLISH JUNIOR FOR?
SMART English Junior is an intensive General and Academic English course for students aged 11-14 years old, who wish to study at International or government secondary school in Singapore, and for whom English is a foreign language.
