With its numerous styles that have developed over the centuries, Khatt is the art of writing the Arabic language. In Cairo, examples of this calligraphy can be seen strewn across the walls of countless mosques in bands of holy scripture that provide some of their primary decoration. At Sibawayh, you can take classes on each different form of Khatt.

About Sibawayh Center
Currently in its eighth year, the Sibawayh Center is an Arabic language center based in the Nasr City area of Cairo, Egypt. The center was created by a group of Arabic teachers who wanted to spread the knowledge of Arabic and Islamic Studies to those around the world with qualifications in teaching the language to non-native speakers in addition to degrees from the renowned Al Azhar University.
As we have built our reputation, we have come to understand that teaching Arabic is much more about understanding the vocabulary, grammar, and syntax of the language. Rather, the best way to learn is through the application of your skills by participating in conversation, religious studies, and literature.
