This QQI Business Administration Skills course will provide the Learner with the skills, knowledge and competence to work effectively as an administrator or related role in any organisation. It will also provide a solid foundation for those who wish to progress to related programmes in Legal Studies, Accounting and Finance, Human Resource Practice, Information Technology and Marketing.

Entry Requirements

  • The requirements for entry to the Business Administraton Level 5 course are: FETAC/QQI Level 4, Junior or Leaving Certificate or equivalent or relevant life/work experience.
  • This course is suitable for those who are new to their role in business or those who have no previous training, but wish to develop the skills and knowledge to work effectively and develop a career in this field.

Assessment

  • A combination of module appropriate assessment procedures will facilitate the assessment of learning outcomes of this course. These methods will include a combination of final written examinations and continuous assessment processes such as assignments, collection of work, learner records, projects and skills demonstration.

  • Assignment 60%
  • Examination - Theory 40%
