Course details
Our Business Course is designed for students who aim to work in an environment where they can apply and demonstrate business skills and business knowledge.
This involves dealing with administrative responsibilities, trade issues, bookkeeping and marketing. Students will learn the basics of business theory and business concepts in various business subject areas, which will provide a base of knowledge and the competences required to work for a business organisation, and also provide students with a qualification for progression into a Business Studies degree.
Entry Requirements
Students must hold an IELTS 5 - 5.5 (Upper Intermediate English) or equivalent. No previous experience or knowledge of Business Studies is required to enter the course. Students must have completed formal secondary education.
Course Assessment
Each module can be assessed by a combination of projects, exams, portfolio's, skills demonstrations, and assignments. Where there are assignments, projects or portfolio briefs, students will receive them at the commencement of the module. Where there are examinations or skills demonstrations, these are typically held at the end of the module. The dates for all assessment deadlines are available at the commencement of the module.
