The BTEC HNC Provides the advanced foundation study for the degree in Hair and Beauty Management. The focus of study:

• 
  Providing education and training for a range of careers within the hair and beauty sector
• 
  Providing opportunities for learners to achieve a nationally recognised level 4 vocationally-specific qualification
• 
  Providing opportunities for learners to progress to higher education, such as a degree in a related area
• 
  Developing the knowledge, understanding and skills of learners in the hair ad beauty sector
• 
  Providing opportunities for learners to focus on the development of higher-level skills in a hair and beauty-related context
• 
  Providing opportunities for earners to develop a range of skills and techniques and attributes essential for successful performance of working life
• 
  Addressing skills gaps within the hair and beauty sector, notable in management, sales and public relations (PR)

  Equipping inpiduals with knowledge, understanding and skills for success in employment in the hair and beauty sector in supervisory or management levels

  Enabling progression to an undergraduate degree or further professional/specialist qualifications in a related area

  Developing learners’ ability to contribute positively to good practice in the hair and beauty sector through effective use and combination of the knowledge and skills gained in different parts of the programme

Admission requirements

  18 years old and above

  GCE “O” or “N” level or equivalent.

  Can speak and write English or Mandarin language
