Welcome to BraveParenting! BraveParenting is a course developed by Life Coach Jaipaul Swamidass and BraveLife Academy, designed specifically to help you, the Parent, launch your child as a successful and thriving adult.

At BraveLife Academy, we not only provide accredited, proven curriculum for all subjects from Kindergarten through 12th grade, but we also provide a holistic approach to help students determine their career path and life vision before they reach high-school, to develop sound judgment and decision-making skills, and to develop personal fulfillment that promotes life success. By leading students in the discovery and focus of their life purpose, unique passion and the pursuit of truth, we believe they will develop transferable life skills by which they will succeed relationally, vocationally and throughout any personal goals.

Over the next several weeks, we are going to explore several powerful topics and tools for successful Parenting. BraveParenting will show you how to discover and develop your child's driving force (Original Passion) and Original Intelligence in order to aim them toward excellence in every area of life. You'll learn how your child's inborn desire to excel can propel them to greatness in studies, sports, and in relationships with you and others. We'll also provide you with simple and effective ways to deal with social and cultural pitfalls like drug use, bullying and unhealthy peer pressure.

Now, this course is designed to be flexible as we understand that our Parents have busy schedules, but this course has been designed with a few objectives in mind to maximize the learning experience for you and your child:

• BraveParenting is designed to be an interactive learning experience. You will want to be actively thinking through and immersing yourself in each lesson, and to be introspective and honest with yourself as you complete the brief questions/application points that follow each Lecture.
• The material in this course is designed to reinforce your child's K12 / college schooling, so it is to you and your child's benefit to be a tightly integrated learning 'community'. What does this look like? It looks like leading them by example, by integrating your own learning with theirs, being transparent with them so they can be transparent with you, promoting an environment of freedom, free thought, and creativity, truly collaborating and partnering with your child to launch them to be the best that they can be. Maintain this positive attitude and you and your child will go far! Even if your child is not enrolled at BraveLife Academy but at another K12 school, much of this BraveParenting content can still apply as the tools taught are universal, time-tested principles that apply to any Parenting situation.
• Format-wise, these video Lectures are designed to be completed at your own pace, and are combined with Homework / Application Point at the end of each video that is designed to stimulate your creative ability to be a successful parent, NOT tell you exactly how you should parent. Of course, we hope that you practice the Application Points throughout the week and throughout your life!
• Each video (8-15 minutes) and matching homework is designed to take no more than 30 minutes to 1 hour, and is designed to be completed at a rate of 1 per week.

With those logistical tidbits out of the way, let's get started! We are thoroughly excited to join you in your Parenting journey. None of us are perfect parents, but all of us can parent our children to be the best they can be. Here's to BraveParenting!
