The 5 Step App Making Process, In Short
Inquire
The Inquiry step is the first step of the Process, and starts once you've found a prospect. The Inquire step is finding out what a client wants.
Mockup
The second step in the process will deliver you a tangible layout, flow and feature list for the app. A mockup is a rough visual representation of an app.
Design
With the mockup made, you can go to a designer and say: this is what I want, can you make it pretty? For the third step, you ask your client what kind of graphical style they like and find a graphic designer that fits the needs and the budget.
Develop
Now that the design is ready, you can go to a developer and see whether they can make what you want. Perhaps you're a developer yourself. The fourth step in the process usually takes the longest, but ultimately it results in a tangible and functionable app!
Deliver
Make sure your client is a happy client. See whether they like the end result and if it can be improved. The last and fifth step in the process is about delivery, a little upselling and finishing the project.
Materials
The course features 7 video's, 5 about the Steps and 1 for the introduction and 1 with a demonstration of making mockups. Also, there's an e-book on the entire 5 Step App Making Process and a PDF with optional assignments.
What It Doesn't Teach You
This course does not teach you programming or graphic design. It's purely aimed at the entrepreneur, the business person that takes on the management role. Of course, if you're a designer or a developer, this course is for you -- no need to hire if you can do it yourself!
