Course details
Beauty Therapy Level 6 is designed to provide previously qualified Beauty Therapists with an opportunity to advance in their chosen profession. Students wishing to attend this course will gain qualifications in Indian Head Massage, Electrical Epilation, Body, Facial Electrics and Nail Technology. Gaining these qualifications will greatly increase employment opportunities for therapists along with providing extensive professional development.
Award
Successful completion of this course will result in a FETAC/QQI Level 6 Award, 6M3479.
In addition to FETAC modules students are prepared for the following Diplomas from ITEC:
- ITEC Epilation
- ITEC Facial Electrical Treatements
ITEC apply a rigid set of standards governing attendance, learning, and examinations.
Graduates who achieve ITEC qualifications can become overseas members of ITEC.
Examinations take place in April and May. Case studies are required for ITEC modules.
