Beauty Therapy Level 5 (BT5)

Course details

This programme enables learners to gain a QQI Level 5 Major Award in Beauty Therapy as well as internationally recognised qualifications from the major therapy awarding bodies. Successful learners have the opportunity to progress to pursue advanced qualifications at Level 6.

There are a number of optional extra skills courses offered throughout training.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

• Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent.
• Biology and/or Home Economics (Social and Scientific) is desirable.
• Successful completion of an interview.
• Mature applicants are welcome.

Progression:

• Opportunities to progress to further and higher education.
• Progression to complete for advanced qualifications at Level 6 (progression to Level 6 is contingent on the successful completion of the Level 5 programme).
