For whom
This course is intended for all seafarers who are to be assigned specific duties and responsibilities related to cargo and cargo equipment on oil and chemical tankers, provided that they are not immediately responsible for cargo operations.
Objective
To be able to serve on tankers in a capacity other than master, chief engineer officer, chief mate or second engineer officer, provided that they are not immediately responsible for the loading, discharging, care in transit or handling of cargo.
