Course details

A National Learning Network instructor will deliver the training programme, using a range of methodologies to suit the subject and learner profile. Practical skills training will be delivered using a mix of structured directed training, self-direction and skills practice. Personal development modules will be delivered using more practical and experiential methods such as role-play and group work. Learners will be encouraged to consolidate their learning through participation in projects, reflecting knowledge and skills required over a range of modules. Learners will achieve FETAC Minor Awards on successful completion of specific modules, leading to a FETAC Major Award, Level 3. Training will be tailored to meet individualised training and development needs through individual action planning, IAP.
