Compiling information and presenting it in ways, which are easily readable and readily understood is fundamental to business success. Report writing is one of the most common communication means and regular requirements in companies and organisations. However, it is usually one of the most demanding and time consuming processes. The proposed course is designed to train participants in the advanced skills of effective technical report writing, thereby giving them the skills and confidence to generate compact and professional documents in line with international standards.

Training, assessment and certification
Once the course commences, participants will undergo a self-evaluation test to identify their existing knowledge and deficiencies regarding the writing of technical reports. Short tests and assignments will be conducted during the course in order to ascertain progress and identify areas requiring remedial attention. As part of the final assessment participants will produce a full fledged technical report on given topics at the end of the course. Upon completion of the course participants will receive a certificate and a performance report.
Methodology
The course will use a wide range of training methods and involve a high level of interaction. Al Mashraq Training utilises learner centred, task-based and process-oriented training methodology, which ensures high success when used in conjunction with an interactive and communicative approach. The use of LCD projectors, computers, DVD players, microphones, notice boards and flip charts make the practice, meaningful, effective, rewarding and enjoyable for all ages. Participants are encouraged to contribute examples and experiences from their own work environment. Creativity in course content besides enjoyable and challenging activities encourages participants to fruitfully apply the skills they master in their workplace.
