BIBF’s Banking Studies Diploma Programme (BSDP) has been offered for the past 33 years. It is a financial service qualification designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to help embark them on a professional career path. It is a qualification in its own right, providing a firm financial services base from which to go on and specialise. BSDP provides professional and academic pathways to the participants with the essential skills and knowledge for an entry level position in a financial services organisation. It is a qualification which provides critical knowledge, skills and abilities required in the competitive world which enables the participants to progress their personal and professional development. It also provides pathways for academic career progression.
Learning Outcomes
BSDP enables candidates to apply and use up-to-date knowledge in their work in the financial sector. • It encourages an enhanced understanding of an inpidual’s role as part of an organization within the financial services sector.
Target Audience
- High School graduates who aspire to enter the financial services sector
- Junior professionals with 0-2 years of work experience
Entry Requirements
- High School (12th Standard)
- Intermediate School (10th Standard) with minimum 2 years working experience in financial or commercial sectors (non-High School)
- BIBF Business English Level 4 Pass or its equivalent (IELTS 6.5 or above)
