Course details
This course is designed to develop an understanding of the important issues, products, services and documentation associated with international trade. Participants will learn how to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions; identify various risks to both bank and customer in international trade transactions. They will also be able to describe and carry out the processes involved in documentary collections as well as understand the purposes and applications of the law concerning the documentary collections.

On successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain nature of international trade finance
- Identify different types of trade financing methods
- Describe various sources of trade financing
- List various risks involved in trade financing
- Examine? various advantages and disadvantages involved in the trade finance methods
- Apply the rules given in the law governing documentary collection while conducting the collection operations
