The AIDBE programme covers two parts of competence: AIDBE Part 1, and AIDBE Part 2 and is aimed at lower advanced level of competence which is benchmarked against European Framework level C1-C2 and IELTS 6.5/7.5
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the AIDBE programme, participants will be able to:
- Comprehend and associate in different business theories.
- Use a variety of reading techniques, including skimming/scanning, predicting, reading for gist, reading intensively and recognizing vocabulary in context.
- Compare facts and discriminate between ideas and support opinion regarding a business matter.
- Select, order, group, judge and contrast facts related to a business theme.
- Discuss, support and conclude on certain business topic.
- Analyze and discuss a range of contemporary business issues, working in groups to develop techniques including presenting arguments, pitching and debating, persuasion, negotiation, prioritising and problem-solving, managing appraisals, and to make informed judgments.
- Apply appropriate business writing styles in various contexts.
- Plan, prepare and demonstrate a short presentation using advanced business English vocabulary.
- *Upon completion of AIDBE Part 1, you will receive an Advanced International Business English Certificate accredited by Pearson a leading examining body form the United Kingdom.
- *Upon completion of AIDBE Part 2, you will receive an Advanced International Diploma in Business English accredited by Pearson a leading examining body form the United Kingdom.
Target Audience
The programme is intended for people who are either already in business oriented work or preparing to pursue such a career.
Entry Requirements
High School graduate (12th standard) preferable with minimum 1 year working experience in financial or commercial enterprises, currently in High School (12th standard), a comparable level of IELTS 6, BIBF- IDBE Stage 4 or sit the BIBF placement test to determine their language level.
