Course details

AutoCAD is an increasingly critical skills component required of professionals working in industry. The college provides CAD Training to candidates from various disciplines including interior design, engineering, landscape design, architecture, retail design, shop-fitting and building services. Participants are expected to have a basic knowledge of computers. It is advisable to have access to the AutoCAD programme outside of class time for practice and can arrange a free student license for all attendees.

Programme Aims and Objectives 

The main aim of this course is to prepare candidates for the examinations leading to the following certification:

Successful participants will be awarded a City & Guilds Certificate in CAD 2D (7579-02). If you do not require City & Guilds Certification but would still like to train in CAD 2D, you may still take the course. You will not be required to pay the City & Guilds Registration Fee in this instance.
