The Aim of the Audio Transcription course is to bring a learner up to the typing speed of 80words per minute.
Who Should Attend?
This course is ideal if you wish to pursue careers in the medical, PA or secretarial professions.
It is also useful in up skilling in current roles to improve efficiency.
Course Objectives:
- These qualifications develop and recognise the skills you need to transcribe varying lengths of text quickly and accurately.
- You will learn in the classroom or on the job in the work environment.
- Assessment will be through an externally set and marked written test.

- How it will be used in the work place
- Practical keyboard training
Training Methods:
- Classroom based power-point presentation and practical keyboard training.
- There will also be course hand-outs & exercises to do at home.
