Course details
An applicant requiring to undertake the Airline Transport Pilots Licence Theory course and exams must hold a valid PPL.
The Course
- The ATPL'S are a set of 14 subjects and exams which are required for the issue of an Airline Transport Pilots Licence.
- The course is conducted over a 6 month duration at the Academy and candidates may participate as either full time or part time (distance learning) students.
- Classes are held from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, every week comprising lectures and one to one tuition with each inpidual being assigned a computer terminal, complete with username and password, for online study and also a study pack.
- The course is split in three bi-monthly modules culminating in a set of exams at the end of each module.
- All exams are taken at the Atlantic Flight Training Academy, Cork International Airport, and are multi choice.
