Would you like to develop new scientific technology? Perhaps you would like to work in a medical laboratory as part of a pathology diagnostic team? Can you see yourself working in Pharmaceutical manufacturing or research?
This two year course will give you a solid platform to launch your career in the science and biotechnology industry. You will develop highly tuned practical skills in our state of the art laboratories. With small class sizes, you will receive highly personalised training in a warm supportive environment.
Building on a strong foundation of Biology and Chemistry in first year, you will gain theoretical and hands-on experience in critical science areas such as Biochemistry, Genetics and Microbiology. Expand your horizons in new and exciting areas such as Nanotechnology and Bioprocessing.
After completion, you may wish to continue into the final year of the Bachelor Degree of Biotechnology and Innovation to gain access to our highly successful work placement program.
