Course details

This is a associate degree with majors in networking, cloud computing and virtualisation. It draws on fundamental studies in; computer hardware and software, networking, virtualisation, operating systems, network security, emerging computer technologies, programming for web applications, business and communication skills and entrepreneurship and innovations skills. This program is intended to produce adaptable graduates who are as comfortable presenting ideas in the boardroom as they are in the workshop.

Box Hill Institute is a Cisco Training Centre for AsiaPac and the course may lead to certifications in Cisco CCNA and may also lead to other certifications such as Linux LPI, Microsoft (MCTS), VMWare VCP. The networking major will include further topics including Cisco Academy CCNP. The cloud computing and virtualisation stream will include desktop, applications and data virtualisation, with courseware from EMC and Citrix as well as from VMWare.

This degree will train you in the following vendor certifications; Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), VMWare (VCP), EMC (EMCISA), Citrix (CCA), Microsoft (MCTS) and Linux Professional (LPIC).
