Aromatherapy is the modern name given to the use of pure essential oils to promote health and counteract disease.

This course teaches detailed information on 42 essential oils including synergistic blending for individual conditions. The massage movements are specially designed to improve circulation and lymph flow. The aromatherapy massage is applied to the full body, face and scalp. Techniques include lymph drainage, neuromuscular massage and acupressure points.

  • Essential Oils to use with caution
  • Essential Oils to avoid during pregnancy
  • Preparation for massage
  • Order of massage strokes for: a) body; b) neck & shoulders; c) face; d) scalp
  • Client handling / Client Care
  • Taking of case histories
  • Contra-indications to Aromatherapy massage
  • Relaxation – learning how to relax to a deep level to restore the natural flow of energy

Prenatal (Pregnancy) and Post Partum Massage, Stone Therapy and City & Guilds Certificate and Diploma in Delivering Learning and Occupational First Aid. Alison is also a registered I.T.E.C instructor, and is on the national register of trainers with FAS/ Enterprise Ireland.
Aubrey is a college director at Holistic College Dublin, and program developer for their cutting edge Sports Massage ctheirse and C.P.D. workshops. His 23 years clinical experience and 19 years teaching experience, enables him to bring high standards of professionalism and expertise to each diploma ctheirse. His qualifications include: Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Yoga Teaching, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Healing Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Seated On-Site Massage, Stone Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Fitness Instruction and Personal training, Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage, Orthopedic Massage and certificates in Delivering Learning and Occupational First Aid. Aubrey has a particular interest in the pain free treatment of over-use, repetitive strain and chronic injuries. Aubrey is also a registered I.T.E.C instructor, and is on the national register of trainers with FAS/ Enterprise Ireland.
