While The Diplomats' Program is open to anyone interested in the most comprehensive curriculum that MALIC has to offer, this program is specifically designed to develop the Arabic language skills required by diplomatic personnel in the everyday operations of their office. The program focuses in particular on improving students’ oral communication skills in addition to all of the core skill sets required by a diplomat's daily responsibilities in order to communicate effectively and confidently in Arabic while preparing and delivering speeches and presentations on a wide range of topics, conducting negotiations, chairing and participating in meetings and conferences, writing clear and concise emails and letters, making and receiving telephone calls, improving rhetorical and persuasive skills and developing the ability to improvise and adapt to new, unexpected scenarios under pressure and under time restraints.
* The Diplomats' Program is not only our highest quality program at the MALIC Center (for which we reserve only our most experienced instructors) but it also includes exclusive benefits afforded only to students enrolled in the Diplomats' Program..
* In order to ensure the accelerated development of participants' fluency and due to the intensive nature of the Diplomats' Program curriculum, those wishing to register in the Diplomats’ Program must enroll for at least 4 weeks of sessions which must include at least 20 hours of sessions per week. Exceptions are allowed, but we discourage these exceptions as they may affect both the scope and quality of the student's learning experience, in addition to the other special benefits of the Diplomat's Program mentioned above.

Why We Are Special
We focus on empowering our students to become successful lifelong learners. Through a broad spectrum of services and instructional approaches, The MALIC Center seeks to help its students master effective ways of learning in numerous disciplines, while learning different ways to understand and adapt to Jordanian society, allowing them to experience true cultural immersion throughout the course of their studies. Moreover, all of our programs follow a skill-based teaching philosophy that develops our learners' fluency by building their mastery of specific skill sets that are applicable across all professional capacities including but not limited to listening (for audio and video), reading for gist, reading for detail, speaking (prepared presentation, dialogue and improvisation), written translation, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation and formal writing all of which are drilled under timed conditions. Also, by keeping up to date with the latest pedagogical research in the field as we develop our curricula and our teaching methodologies, we guarantee not only to maintain but to improve upon the quality of our services for our students whatever their backgrounds, levels or goals.See all MALIC Center courses
