Android is a Linux-Based platform designed basically for mobiles and handheld devices. It provides programming platform for a wide range of mobile and embedded devices. The main objective of this course is to provide a foundation for Android application development.

Throughout this course topics like android anatomy (internals) are covered introducing Android software stack including kernel, libraries and runtime. Android application development fundamentals including development platforms, UI, data persistence, Google maps are introduced.

The course provides hands on experience in implementing basic mobile applications as well as complete case study.
