About Course:
The course is designed to orient students about the broad range of healing philosophies, approaches and therapies that focus on the whole person including the bio-psychosocial and spiritual aspects. Examples of these alternative therapies may include herbal, exercise, massage, relaxation, therapeutic touch, yoga and biofeedback therapies. Nursing implications for the use of alternative therapies will be discussed.
