Aircraft Maintenance Technology is a large field with many opportunities inside and even outside of aviation. It is no wonder that many people want to get their Airframe and/or Powerplant rating (A&P) and begin working in this ever growing field.
If you are attending a school certified under part 147 andjust need a refresher before taking your writtenand O&P.

You were a mechanic in the military and you want to work on civilian aircraft as an FAA certified A&P. You will need to know your Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR).
In this course we will be going over many topics you will need to know to navigate the Title 14 CFRs andaid you inpassing your A&P licencing tests. You will know key terms, the dispensation of documents, your privileges and limitation under your rating, major and minor repairs and alterations along with many other important topics.
The course will be structured with lectures and Powerpoints over section in the FAR AMTbook. Students will also be expected to do some independent reading.The FAR AMT book is required for this course and is a book I recommend keeping throughout your career.
The course will include severalquizzes from thethat will require your FAR AMT book to answer.

***Note***Please note that this course is over the Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) more specifically the Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations. This book governs the Federal Aviation Administration and sets the privileges and limitations of Aircraft Maintenance Technicians and Repairmen in the UNITEDSTATES (US) or United statesbased Air Carriers.
This course WILL NOT cover the technical (Hands On) side of Aircraft Maintenance and should be viewed as a study aid or exposure course to the FAR.
