Introduction
This course is designed for learners who wish to be performers or who want to facilitate performance. The course is delivered both on and off-stage, by example and analysis, through practice and appreciation and is complemented with guest lectures and workshops.
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate with 5 passes or Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent. For mature students applications may be considered based on a proven interest in performance. Entry may be subject to interview and audition.

Course Structure
Included is a combination of theatre practices and their appreciation, complemented by training in the areas of performance skills, drama and technical skills, along with event production.
Career Options | Progression
Successful completion of the QQI Level 5 Certificate in Theatre Performance allows progression to further studies at Institutes of Technology/ Universities in theatrical/ performance related areas. Alternatively, you may directly enter employment in acting, theatre performance or event production.
