Learn to fly aerobatics in a safe, structured environment with one of Ireland’s most experienced aerobatic instructors.
- 8 hours of ground briefs & self study
- 8 hours of dual aerobatic instruction
Flying is carried out on the Bellanca Super Decathlon, an ideal aerobatic training machine fitted with full inverted fuel & oil systems as well as an injected 180HP engine fitted with a variable pitch propeller.
Qualified Pilots who complete this Course will be eligible for a Basic Aerobatic Competency endorsement certificate in their flying logbook.
The aim will be to achieve a standard whereby a basic aerobatic sequence can be carried out safely. Course graduates can be confident in the knowledge that all aspects of their flying will be improved. Many major airlines now insist that their pilots complete such advanced handling courses as part of their basic training.
