    This course is designed for those who wish to work with, and on behalf of, people who need help or support in accessing social and community services or information, or who require someone to speak or act on their behalf. This support is crucial in enabling people to successfully access services and entitlements. The course is suited to learners who may have already achieved Level 5 or equivalent certification in related areas, or who have experience in the social care area and wish to develop their career opportunities.

    Learners who successfully complete a QQI Level 6 Certificate may be able to use their results to progress to related Level 7 and Level 8 Degree Programmes in Irish Universities and Institutes of Technology. Third level progression opportunities for QQI learners are continually being developed and enhanced.

    We_They (SCFE) has been included on a national panel of trainers approved to offer childcare training under the newly launched “Learner Fund”. The training will be offered as part of our Adult Education provision, with support from the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Childcare Committee.
