Course details

The course ensures that students are equipped with the necessary management knowledge and skills to meet challenges in the ever-changing local and global business environments. Students also learn how to apply their knowledge and skills to different real-world scenarios through case studies and project-based methods. Graduates will be well placed to meet the demands in the dynamic business world.

How will I be assessed?

All modules will be assessed through a combination of assessments, tests, class participation and written examinations. To be awarded the Advanced Diploma, students will need to achieve a passing mark of 50% for all modules. For Degree and Master Courses, students will need to achieve the passing grade stipulated by the University for all modules.

Entry Requirements

Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents

  • Minimum 3 GCE 'O' level credits; or
  • 2 GCE 'A' level credits for any subjects (applicants can apply for a waiver-with-substitutions); or
  • A minimum of 5 GCE 'N' level credits for any subjects and completion of the Foundation Course
  • Polytechnic graduates can obtain exemptions based on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as well as relevant courses completed at the polytechnic. The maximum RPL for the Bachelor of Commerce course is 72 credits; or
  • Institute of Technical Education (ITE) graduates can obtain exemptions based on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as well as relevant courses completed at the polytechnic. The maximum RPL is 3 credits in Higher NITEC.

International Students

  • Minimum requirement: completion of Year 12 education

English Language Requirements

All courses at Raffles School of Business are conducted in English. Students must have the ability to speak and write fluently in English.

Students who fulfil any of the requirements below will be exempted from English as a Second Language (ESL) classes:

  • Minimum TOEFL score of 550* (paper-based) or 79 - 80 (internet-based)
  • Minimum IELTS score of 5.5* (academic module) or equivalent
  • Minimum score of C6 in English at GCE 'O' level
