Course details
This course will equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide TCM Sports massage. Trainees are expected to know the Basic TCM Theory especially The Meridian Systems - classification of Acupoints, Methods of Locating Acupoints and common used Acupoints for pain relief, release stress and tension, including LU5 Chize, LI20 Yingxiang, ST36 Zusanli, sT41 Jiexi, SP6 Sanyinjiao, SP9 Yinlingquan, SI11 Tianzong, BL40 Weizhong, BL57 Chengshan, PC3 Quze, GB21 Jianjing, GB34 Yanglingquan, LR3 Taichong. With this foundation, trainees will learn more special points and the combination of these points to relieve pain, speed up recovery and enhance performance and to apply massage therapy to prevent and manage sports injury.

Applying massage methods to prevent and manage sports injury - upper body
- Sports massage therrapy Part II. Learner will learn and demonstrate sports massage therapy techniques that are used on professional and amatuer athletes, common physician-diagnosed upper body sports-related injuries such as rotator cuff muscles etc and be able to demonstrate specific clinical sports massage routines.

- Sports massage therrapy Part III. Learner will learn and demonstrate sports massage therapy techniques that are used on professional and amatuer athletes, common physician-diagnosed lower body sports-related injuries such as iliotibial band syndrome, plantar fasciitis etc and be able to demonstrate specific clinical sports massage routines.
