Advanced Certificate In Networks and Software System

Course details

This course has been specifically designed to prepare students for employment in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector particularly in the areas of Network Administrators, Web Developers, Software Developers etc. Students completing this course will be prepared for a variety of supervisory positions within their chosen area or will be able to progress to Higher Education.

Entry Requirements:

Students should have completed the FETAC level 5 Certificate in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.

Certification:

This course is certified by the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) at Level 6.Successful students will receive a FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Networks and Software Systems (NSSX).

Career Progression:

This course is designed to equip students with the qualifications and experience necessary to progress directly into employment or obtain a place in higher education. A very strong link programme has been established with the Dundalk Institute of Technology enabling successful students to progress to year 2 of related DKIT computing courses.
