Course details
Learners will build and investigate electronic circuits which are used in modern robotics applications. They will study computer programming and implement circuits in real applications. Learners will design, build and test their own embedded control systems (which includes the fabrication and construction of printed circuit boards). Learners will also study PC construction installation and maintenance and are prepared for the internationally recognised CompuTIA+ award. In the second year, learners will investigate relevant digital techniques (including radio and fibre-optic telecommunications) which underpin Cloud Computing Technology.
