This session will cover advanced hair cutting techniques and how these can be used and adapted to achieve the latest cutting trends. Learners are required to have completed the Basic Cutting Re Cap or have a Level 2 or equivalent international certificate.
- The importance of sterilising cutting equipment
- The appropriate way to comb hair avoiding un wanted breakage
- Sectioning the hair correctly to apply both precision and speed
- The importance of maintaining tension and elevating the correct angle when cutting hair
- Disconnection
- Asymmetric cutting
- Extended graduation and blending
- Texturising techniques to include Slicing, Chipping, Blunt cutting, Point cutting, Weave cutting, Twist cutting and Serrating
