Adobe Web Specialist Certification was created for Web designers who are seeking recognition for their expertise with Adobe products. This certification is recognised as a worldwide standard of excellence in Adobe software knowledge and recognises the student's proficiency in the medium of Web Design. In this programme you will gain an understanding of different web technologies, how to design using the design or code view, and how to use CS6 to design webpages. Additional skills and competencies include the ability to work with dynamic content and different assets in your website, as well as the testing of websites, once designed. You will work with Flash applications, creating interactive and visual outputs. You will use Script 3.0 for programming. You will also learn how to test and deploy Flash applications. In Adobe Photoshop you will use various elements, interfaces and workspaces, and manage assets using the Adobe Bridge function. You will learn how to use raw camera to adjust, set and correct images among others.
Entrance Requirement
Grade 12 (Std 10) or CompTIA A+ or CompTIA N+ or MCSE 2003 or INTEC Introduction to Databases or INTEC Introduction to Programming, or relevant work experience (2 years).
