Course details
The programme supports the gaining of additional knowledge in the use and application of the industry standard Adobe Dreamweaver Web Design editing software which is used by web designers for the creation of websites. Becoming Adobe certified will validate your skills in using Adobe software packages through recognised skills and competencies enabling the design of webpages, website development, use of code view, coding tool features and the professional formatting of webpages through the use of advanced CSS techniques. Skills furthermore include the use of interactive page elements, user authentication and the administration of database records and websites. After completion of the programme, you will be able to identify basic web design concepts, customize the Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 interface and gain the foundational skills required to effectively communicate using digital media tools.
Entrance Requirement
Grade 10 (Std. 8) or equivalent and PC literacy using a Windows operating system or equivalent, or relevant work experience in the Adobe environment (3 years).
