Accredited Certificates in Insurance Studies

Course details

We provide our own range of accredited professional  certification courses from induction level for new entrants to the industry through to intermediate and advanced level for customer servicing, technical and managerial staff.  These courses cover most classes of insurance and functions across the industry including takaful, risk management, life and savings and bancassurance.

Our courses have been developed and authored by our own trainers and/or specialists in the respective subjects.  Whilst the subject matter follows international industry practice, the emphasis is on region specific application, regulation and market requirements.  Most of our courses are accredited by the Chartered Insurance Institute and certificate holders may apply to the CII for prior learning credits should they wish to pursue the CII's diplomas and qualifications.The Quality  Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET) in Bahrain audits our provision every  two years and in its last review has rated us two on a scale of one to five, one being the highest.

All our courses are:- 

• tutor led and classroom based with online support;
• developed by our faculty and include presentation slides, further reading material, quizzes and assignments;
• available in English and Arabic;
• usually conducted over 25 or 30 hours;
• offered for public enrollment in all GCC countries and Sudan;
• customisable as corporate in-house training programmes;
• conducted during daytime or evening;
• conducted by our own full time qualified trainers with many years experience in the industry and as trainers.

Certificates of completion are awarded only on successfully passing the examinations which are held under rigorous quality assurance processes ensuring independence between delivery of the course and the examination of the learning outcomes.Certificate holders are awarded credits to qualify as associates or fellows of the GII and are also entitled to prior learning credits should they wish to complete qualifications from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
