    This Course provides candidates with a rigorous programme to be equipped with the knowledge and skills required to pass Foundations in Financial Management for the purpose of attaining the said qualification, which is globally recognized and relevant.

    Entry Requirements

    • Minimum 16 years old
    • IELTS 5.5 or a pass in GCE ‘O’ level English or its equivalent
    • Preferably GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent
    • Mature student entry – over 21 years old with minimum of 1 year working experience
    • Completion of the Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting will be accepted as fulfilling minimum entry.

    Course Outline

    Foundations in Financial Management (FFM)

    This module examines all aspects of cash and working capital management, and to develop an understanding of the sources of short and long-term finance. It also aims to develop the knowledge and understanding of the way organisations finance their operations and plan, allocate and control resources to optimise returns.

    • Managing cash balances
    • Financing decisions
    • Investment decisions
