Minimum Entry Requirements to study with ACCA are as follows:

• Leaving Certificate in 5 subjects with 3 Honours at Higher Level papers and a pass in English and a pass in Maths.
• IELTS 5.0 or equivalent TOEFL score is acceptable for applicants whose first language is not English
• If students don’t satisfy these minimum entry requirements and have no other qualifications, they can still register to complete the Diploma.
• The only difference is that instead of sitting F1, F2 and F3, they sit the equivalent subjects FFA, FMA and FAB and must register on the Foundations in Accounting qualification register.
• On completion of these 3 subjects these students can then progress to the full ACCA qualification and continue their studies from F4 onwards.
• The ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business is the starting point for a career in this field. You will beneift from the wide experience of our excellent team of lecturers. On successful completion of FAB, FMA and FFA, and also the Professionalism and Ethics online examination learners can claim exemption from the F1, F2 and F3 of the ACCA Qualification and will start at the Skills module exams.

Assessment

The ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business is assessed by formal examinations for all papers. Dorset College is a registered CBE (Computer Based Exam) Centre. Students registered with ACCA may take Computer Based Examinations for the three Papers in Dorset College at scheduled times.

Awards

The Diploma in Accounting and Business is awarded on the completion of the exams Financial Accounting (FFA), Management Accounting (FMA), Accounting in Business (FAB) and Foundations in Professionalism.
