Does Griffith College offer tuition for Global variant of the F4 paper?

No, Griffith College currently only offer tuition for the Irish variant of the F4 paper.

When are the ACCA Computer Based Exams (CBE's) held?

The ACCA Computer Based Exams (CBE's) are usually held once per month. For the latest schedule click on Structure Tab.

Can I take a ACCA Computer Based Exam (CBE) in Griffith College if I am not currently a student of the college?

Yes, all students eligible to sit ACCA Computer Based Exam (CBE) can register to take the exams in Griffith College.

You will then receive an email confirming your place with instructions regarding how to pay online.

How can I pay for ACCA Computer Based Exam's (CBE's)?

You must pay on-line for your Computer Based Exam at least one week before the exam. Please note at busy times places for some sessions fill up well in advance of the exam date. Your place on the exam cannot be fully confirmed until payment is received.

Can I get a refund if I do not sit the exam?

The exam fees are not refundable. If you are unable to sit the exam on the scheduled date your fee can be transferred to a later date or to another course in Griffith College Dublin. All requests for deferral must be received in writing or email at least one week before the exam.

I have not yet completed my ACCA registration. Can I register for the Computer Based Exam now?

In order to confirm your registration for the ACCA Computer Based Exams you must have completed your registration with ACCA and confirmed your eligibility to take the exam you are registering for. If you have not yet completed this process we can provisionally hold a place for you. You would need to be able to provide a valid ACCA registration number at least one week before the exam date.

Do Griffith College offer tuition for the Introductory and Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting?

No, currently Griffith College only offers tuition for the ACCA Professional Qualification (Foundation, Skills and Professional levels) and for the Diploma in Accounting and Finance.

Can I take two ACCA Computer Based Exams (CBE) on the same day?

Yes, assuming there are spaces available it is possible to take two exams on the same day.

How long does each exam last for?

Each exam takes two hours. You may leave before two hours if you complete the exam early.

What happens if I fail a Computer Based Exam (CBE)?

You will receive your exam result immediately after completion of the exam. If you have failed you can register to complete the exam on a later date.

How do I apply for additional time for the exam?

It may be possible for special arrangements to be made during exams for students who have a long term or permanent disability, indisposition, are visually impaired or who have a specific learning difficulty that might affect their exams. If you wish to apply for special exam arrangements you must submit information regarding your specific condition, and the nature of the arrangement sought (e.g. use of Windows Magnifier or additional time). This information must be supplied at least weeks before your chosen exam date.

Students must be eligible to sit the exams they have applied for, and that have satisfied all ACCA regulations as to eligibility, registration, exemptions and time limits. (GCD does not accept any liability for a student presenting for a CBE who is not eligible to sit the Exam. Admission to the CBE does not imply any acknowledgement on behalf of Griffith College that the student is eligible to sit that exam) Students must present valid and current identification at the exam (i.e. a current Passport, Driving Licence, College or ACCA Student Card as they not be permitted to sit the exam(s) without this identification.
