Introductory course for anyone wanting to be a bridal and photographic Makeup Artist Maximum of 6 students per class
Course content:
- Introduction to occupational health and safety, product knowledge including brushes & sterilising
- Colour theory and makeup for black and white photography.
- Correction of lips
- Identifying correct foundation colours - tone - shade and use of different types of foundations and concealers
- Determining face shapes and how to correct using contouring and highlighting
- Eyebrow shaping
- Application of lashes (full strip & individual lashes)
- Application of eyeliners
- Blush and bronzer application - powders and crèmes
- Identifying eye shapes and corrective eyeshadow techniques
- Make-up to suit ethnic and Asian colouring and features
- Classic, natural bridal makeup and creating glowing skin.
- Technique for smokey eyes - soft smokey for bridal and rock chic smokey for editorial
- Use of coloured eyeshadows - for fashion/editorial work, making eyes the focus
- Mature makeup
Eligibility / Requirements
No previous training required. Student required to bring in own model for days 4-6.
