This course offers you a Level 3 International Diploma in Fashion, Theatre and Media Hair and Make-up Studies. This course includes our Professional Make-up Design Course, Hair Design Course and Airbrush & Body Art Course. Our Professional course takes you from the fundamentals of make-up to the most basic make-up applications, building towards make-up for various occasions and creating magical bridal looks. We enter the world of advanced make-up techniques for runway, editorial, TV, magazine, film, red carpet and many more; pushing your creativity further than you could ever imagine. From creating high fashion beauties to theatrical characters and creatures using special effects make-up, our Professional course is well rounded and intensive. Students will learn the business side of the industry including marketing, creating business documents, social media, talking to and booking clients as well as negotiating rates.
During our in-house shoots a professional photographer photographs the students work. This assists in building a professional portfolio, which is imperative, as this is a portfolio based industry. Job opportunities rely not only on your skills and qualification, but also on the visuals you present to your clients in the form a portfolio.
During this course students complete 3 practical exams, 3 theory exams and 4 portfolios shoots over and above industry projects and assignments.
The skills acquired during this course offers the opportunity to work in any avenue within the make-up industry.
