    Students will be familiar with an understanding of the broad range of human resources management skills and their application to such areas as policy development, planning, recruitment, job analysis, appraisal, rewards and incentives, health and safety, training and development.

    Upon completion of this programme, each student should be able to:

    1. discuss contemporary human resource policy and its communication to staff;

    2. integrate knowledge of human resource management and discuss its implementation in a sport and recreation organisation;

    3. plan for the implementation of human resource strategies in a sport and recreation organisation.
